Various monitor views of a website redesign for a landmark charity organization

This project was very important because it was for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon and then for the Oklahoma City Memorial website. I felt honored to be asked to help design and develop both websites.

Marathon Site: I strategized the design based on the audiences it targeted: runners, volunteers and supporters. From there we built landing page content that pertained to those specific personas. There was a countdown clock implemented in the banner and the site was linked to a third party tool for donations. The site has since been redesigned.

Memorial Website: The main memorial website focused on the tragedy itself and the aftermath. We focused on the imagery of that day. Some of the features of the site included a video header, a rotating section of blog posts, interactive image grid for those who died and import of the social media feeds. The site has since been redesigned.
